Iskandar will highlight recent advances in promoter engineering for Pichia, including our recently launched class of non-PAOX variants enabling fully methanol-free expression. Developed through a modular design approach combining synthetic and native elements, these promoters form a highly tunable library and provide new opportunities to balance productivity, process robustness, and operational simplicity in industrial recombinant protein production.
